WHO ARE WE?
Ottawa Network of Young eXecutives, also known as ONYX, is an organization developed in partnership with the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce. Established in 2009, we help enable and encourage young professionals (ages 21-45) to become the future "gems" of our community. Our goal is to remain tomorrow minded, with the best intentions for sustainability and professional growth. It has been said: "Great minds think alike", ONYX is where those great minds get together to do greater things.
WHAT DOES ONYX DO?
From entry-level to executives, ONYX allows members an opportunity to achieve personal and professional growth by providing a modern setting for social and business networking as well as community involvement. We support local businesses, community and charitable organizations, while helping young professionals achieve independence by making it easier to start, run, and grow a business.
WHAT TO EXPECT!
ONYX members and guests are encouraged to attend our monthly socials hosted at different venues local to Ottawa. As a guest you will be able to attend 2 meetings before making a decision on membership. Board members will also be included in additional monthly board meetings to help make decisions and vote on future events for ONYX.
We are continuously collaborating with local organizations and businesses for new events and volunteer opportunities for our members.
